I agree, and dread to even think of the horrors my loved ones would suffer and those of my fellow countrymen that would suffer if such events should come to pass. Ain’t gonna be like in the movies. Do you really think you're ready to survive harsh and extremely hot & humid summers, immediately followed by stark and bone numbingly cold & icy winters? Are you prepared to face situations that will force you to either compromise your morality and sacrifice your humanity, or face certain death? Mother Nature is a mean, indifferent bitch that regularly makes grown ass men shit themselves right before cooking them alive. Go camping in the deep woods during the summer time for about a month first, without any creature comforts or modern solutions for comfortable living and THEN let me know how big of a hurry you're in for the shit to hit the fan. Boredom will make people THINK they're ready for the apocalypse when in reality they can't even imagine going a day without wifi, electricity, or indoor plumbing LOL
For me is most hilarious fact that some americans think that if they live in rural area that they are safe. Something like: I live in rural area, closest ( small ) city are 20-30 miles away... I make my own food, electricity, have my clean water and GUNS. So I don't give a fuck what assholes in big cities do, this can't impact me. I can't stress how much this is wrong. In Balkan civil wars during "90 people which live in rural areas was fucked more than people in big cities. Think, what you can do if you have couple AR15, shotguns if mob attack your home, usually with more powerful weapon. They will outnumbered and outgunned you. Can you keep guard 24/7? So in reality people leave his homes, take only what they can and leave rest to marauders and gather because they can defend himself only if they have big numbers. Often they find his houses burned to the ground, with all property destroyed. But this is too much for his braiins.
Also, most of modern civil wars are caused by interference of foreign countries, mostly US. But once when puppet master achieve his goal they stop war. Like you turn switch off on. So I wonder who will be able to turn off civil war in US. if there is no foreign powerful country to stop madness?
Yeah, I don’t think most people understand how bad shit can get. There hasn’t been any blood shed on American soil in over a hundred and fifty years. The border wars of the Kansas and Missouri area during the Civil War was about as close to the type of Civil War II as we ever saw. In that area the farms far or not from the cities and towns got decimated with many gruesome casualties. Even after the war the hatred lasted for decades after because of the atrocities committed by both sides. It’s not gonna go down like everybody thinks. Nobody is safe anywhere. Best chance perhaps is safety in numbers and that’ll be sketchy at best. Hunter Thompson said it best, “When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro”.
