I gave up on John Stewart a long time ago, and Colbert. Their jokes don't really inform people .. they make people laugh at horror and make people more comfortable with it ... and now the same shows are all political actors, pushing people or reinforcing more and more insane ideas. I like The Bee now, but I wonder if they're just part of the same problem. I do feel like I get a lot out of their podcasts though. They're not just the funny ... they interview people in ways that are really challenging. Then again, maybe they're also making us comfortable with things ... Musk likes them; so there's a whole push/pull of what's really going on...
