For real, had to follow this to the end. Make sure you understood he was talking about another person.

Well in the american context I didn't think of martin luther right away, that's not the first thing that pops in my mind when it comes to it, and yes I didn't bother looking at the pic he posted

I nominate this thread for the next Poal Awards, it has everything, assertations, citations, arguments, insults hurled and an eventual mutual understanding. 9/10 would read again in 6 months.

Pretty funny shit

The subject of the op was "Humble yourself", and what triggered it was interdimensional beings. There is a lesson here for everyone involved.

Well in the american context I didn't think of martin luther right away,

That's the problem, which in many ways makes me wonder if the guy you mistook him with was some sort of psyop. Then again i have never met an FBI glownigger that liked him.

America was founded by Protestants, mostly anabaptists. The major concept of anabaptists is that you get baptized as an adult, not as a child. Contrary to the catholic means of forcing the children to be baptized. The Catholics did this as a means to control people, to force them to obey the church or their chirldren will be damned. So of the two ideologies, which one is more attune to the new testament?

I have to point out that clown world seemed to accelerate after Vatican 2.

Well the philosophy of catholics is quite particular, they are wary of Man essentially

To them, if Man isn't strictly supervised, he'll essentially become a degenerate, and they aren't necessarily wrong... If you give too much freedom to a human he might slip and end up raveling in sin and luxury, look around you

Catholics believe there's only one way to access heaven/redemption and it's theirs, protestants believe all roads to get there are good as long as you get there; catholicism is centralized and protestantism isn't, basically

That's really 2 different approaches, with their pros and cons, and jesus would subscribe to none I think, because of what it has become in practice. Protestants and their mega churches, cathos with their vatican, and all that has become very politicized, and a business

Some cahtolics are called "vacationists", those who reject vatican 2 and consider the popes as illegitimate ever since

Mel gibson is one of them
