I feel like there should be a step in between
1.5 Don’t study useless bullshit that won’t give you any marketable skills.
Nobody should be getting a loan for any “studies” type or other navel-gazing majors. Study that shit on your own if you want to.

Getting the govt out of student loans would solve that. Private sector lenders arent going to give arbitrary amounts of money to any idiot wanting to study basket weaving.
