I ve seen this video a couple of times in the past.. But I jusy noticed how the van is actually roping the horse.

It kind of shows how things are connected. It's not thay random after all.

The van was towing the horse.. And attempted to avoid the junky.. Brinking the carriage off road. Causing it to get stuck and the old man to drop.
