I've worked with many engineers that are Indian and none have attitudes like this. In fact my experience over 20 years is exactly the opposite.
I don't know what to tell you. My experiences with them are not in the workplace.
Indians are extremely entitled. Those indian phone scammers you hear about aren't poor people. They are young college kids that had to learn English to graduate. They also shit in public on the streets and in the rivers so much that actual lower caste poor people without plumbing die of cholera and diarrhea. Also the street food makes tourists sick for the same reason. India isn't some poor country. They are pretty much a world superpower with a nuclear navy and aircraft carriers and a space program.
The ones I have to (on occasion) deal with are the ones who are in degree programs for technical things. It's not uncommon to get on a thread where you'll get an indian coming in and demanding that you design or redesign something for them. They're not shy about telling you that this is needed for a school project or something along those lines.
cholera and diarrhea street food makes tourists sick for the same reason.
The drinking water is not treated. If going to the shithole for whatever reason always drink bottled water. Even the water straight out of a spring will have bacteria your body isn't used to.

Superpower 2020. There are still a lot of dirt poor. There was an unsuccessful campaign to get a toilet for every house.
this guys just virtue signalling. this is EVERYONE'S experience with indians.
I kind of came to that conclusion. The last time I had to deal with Indians on a professional level they had written a piece of software for a LargeCo I was working for at the time.
It was a total failure, and even when I left a year later they were still pulling inventory out of the charmingly named "BLAKHOLE" location that things with an unknown quality were placed in automatically.
Maybe because they are engineers. I've read many write ups from hotel staff saying exactly this about the red dots. The rudest of the rude and they don't see it because it has been their station in life since day one.
Has it ever occurred to you that maybe because you're not indian, and not part of that tribal behavior / beliefs, that they treated you nicely because "you're an outsider"? Had you ever seen them interacting with others Indians when they didn't know yiu weren't around?
I once sat near a table in a restaurant where an Indian man was on an arranged date (probably arranged by their families) with an Indian woman, and she was fairly pretty, and seemed nice, but he was an absolute prick, he kept bragging about how rich he was and kept telling her negging shit like "I could afford to pay to have your crooked teeth fixed" and "I could buy you a nose job if I wanted to" and dude she had good teeth and a very pretty face, no corrective surgery needed. I couldn't believe what I'd heard until my co-worker asked me after lunch "Did you hear that fucking dude at the next table? Damn!"
That's because you've worked with the few that made it to become engineers. The cream of the crop. If the exact opposite were true then India wouldn't be such a scamming, poor shithole now would it?
99% of curry nigger engineers act like this too, this guy either loves streetshitters or is full of shit. Also, curry nigger "engineers" typically don't understand the basics of engineering at all and just laze around while the one remaining White guy in their office does all the work.
Exactly.
To be fair, the original claim is that the cream of the crop Indians are the ones who act entitled
Well in the original conversation the women acting obnoxious said she was poor so not the cream of the crop.
I've worked with many streetshitter "engineers" and they expected Whites to do their job for them because they didn't understand the basics of engineering, and the company who hired them expected likewise.
As far as I can tell, they hire Indians, or actually outsource more generally but I do think there are particular differences with Indians, expecting someone else to write the code. And then mgmt thinks the solution is to throw temper tantrums if it doesn't happen. Pretty hilarious if you're in a position not to care if they succeed or fail.
Are you White?
