Yes, that’s quite a lot to ponder, especially as a child. I was raised Protestant, Church of the Nazarene, some fire and brimstone haunted my dreams, but love was a big part of the church too. I got saved two times because I liked the process and special treatment, full body immersion; felt so very clean afterwards. :) Children also have their burdens and placing those burdens on God sometimes can helped, still does.
