Wtf, I just spent like 20 minutes on the shitter trying to figure out who this “Vigo the Carpathian” guy was. He’s not even real, just a character from Ghostbusters II. And apparently that’s not even a painting, it’s a photograph:

Are you sure? I would like to think that the character is based on a real person from that era. One can only guess that someone who has been that thoroughly expunged from history must have killed jews by the wagonload.

I think he is loosely based on Vlad the Impaler, or at least Vlad was the inspiration behind the character
