Fair point. It's really the key of G/E minor with just F sharp. The cartoonist sharped the B into an enharmonic C natural instead of sharping the C.

Sharp and flat designate 1/2 steps , major and minor designate the 3rd in a scale . C# ( AKA D♭and F# (AKA G♭) are the ones in B minor.
You really get in troubles when you finger A minor.
Bm is the relative minor of D major, which is 2 sharps. Minor keys are always denoted by their relative major key. For example E minor keys so common in rock/metal music are notated in G major.
