Tattoos are degeneracy. Human skin is a product of billions years of evolution and dumb fucking monkeys spitting in a face of nature by making some shitty pictures or soon-to-be meaningless words on their bodies. If you need to write something important down, use fucking pen and paper.

Not sure if anyone on this site hates tattoos more than I do; can't fucking stand 'em.
However, those ancient tattoos are different; they would symbolize status, position, feats, and cultural beliefs. I'm of the opinion that if one must have a modern tattoo, it should only be for military unit camaraderie or maybe as forced brandings for criminals.

Most of the time yes. Some tribes and group of men get tattoos for a pretty deep meaning with traditions that go back a pretty long time. Someone asked me the other day and I just said it's not part of my culture. They were tatted up and it was obviously part of theirs. I'm glad I didn't have some stupid meaningless tattoo because theirs had meaning and it would have been an obvious tell that my life is meaningless.
