I worked outside the US for 15+ years and returned in the mid 90s. The place I worked had some 20 something guys that had tattoo bands on their biceps. I asked them what they symbolized and they told me they were "tribal". So I asked them what tribe they were part of. They were pissed I asked and told I just didn't get it. I told them I had just come from the South Pacific and the different Islanders had different style tattoos to identify themselves. So why did they have 'tribal' tattoos if they weren't a member of a tribe? They didn't talk to me any more.
Everyone is welcome in the Turkey Sandwich tribe.
It was trendy for a while. The problem with getting a trendy tattoo is trends will change and you will still have the same stupid tattoo.
"Tribal" tattoos were a huge thing at that time. Probably just another (((social experiment))). If you were buff and had a tribal tattoo, women took the cock.
But if... all 20 of them had the same type of tattoo weren't THEY the tribe?
Their age was 20 something. There were 6 guys, there 'tribal' tattoos were very similar, but not identical.
