People that don’t care about themselves, certainly don’t care about anyone else. Trolling them with images of stuff they can’t have only fuels their resolve as they march to their jump point. There’s a guy in China that on his own time, patrols a bridge with a high suicide rate. He can spot the jumpers before they straddle the rail. He has a fantastic success rate of getting the suicidal to reconsider. The jumpers are almost always male and they live on the internet. They’ve had an assfull of images and slogans. What they need is a human being talking specifically to them, and not an internet wide propaganda slogan.

Everyone wants a mate, and children, a family that involves both spouses parents. This was pretty standard in the US until recently. You call me an internet guy? I’m 54 years old and I’ve never owned a cell phone. I’ve never been on any social media. I saw my first cell phone in 1984, I was 17, it was a phone on a curly cord that connected to a backpack you had to lug about. Everyone was fascinated by this thing but it made my balls retract. I go to restaurants and see entire families not talking. They’re on their phones, but they think if they sink their phones below the table level that it’s hidden and ok. The pressure and ridicule I’ve had to indure throughout my life when I told someone I’ve never had owned a cell phone; they can’t believe it. They can’t imagine life without it. I have a mate who dated a chick with IBS and had most of her colon removed. She had a colostomy bag and a hole in her stomach that leads directly to her intestines. He really wanted children and one day we were discussing the pros and cons of settling down with this chick. She was a professional model, and super skinny mostly due to the fact that her body couldn't absorb nutrients. The cons were that her genetics were shit, and there was a large chance their children could have the same maladies. After a while of serious and earnest conversation, I tried to lighten the mood by saying "Well if you ever get tired of her regular holes, you could always try and fuck the colostomy hole." Dude was mortified. He is one of those people who were super liberal in his 20's and gone ultra white nationalist and conservative in his late 30's. Needless to say, he stopped wanting to hang out after that. Everytime I think back to that moment, I crack myself up and I know the joke was totally worth it.

one of the worst things I think the west does is say that suicidal thoughts mean that you need counseling because those thoughts are a sign of lack of sanity and your brain isn't working properly. So they tell the depressed person, not only do you know you're sad, but you might also be insane, and as such be incapable of taking control of your own life and making changes to fix it. That is not what sad people need to hear. They need to have their problems acknowledged and simply made aware of potential other options they should take before taking what should be the last undoable option. That shows them respect, and the time someone else takes to do this shows that that other person thinks their life isn't worth throwing away and that the other person believes in their ability to improve their life.
But F-ing liberals don't want that. They love victimhood, dependence, and helplessness to authority figures and the idea that everyone is broken makes them feel better about whatever mistakes they may be making in their life. Misery loves company.
They love to ignore the trainwreck of a society they live in, and the trainwrecks of people they are. No, it's the person depressed that is the singular source of their depression. Give me a break. Not to say that lots of depressed people aren't fucked in the head as well, just that it's cheap to blame it on them.
