I disagree. There are many people these days who derive their sense of purpose from "social responsibility" and it makes them feel superior and powerful when rules align with their ideology. If they are then put into a position where they have the authority to enforce the rules (i.e. their ideals), then that feeling of power is reinforced. Enforcing vaccine bullshit literally makes some people feel good.

I’m in Madison wi the epicenter of global homo. I’ve meet one person like that. You could see her coming from a mile away with her fluorescent color hair. I calmly asked her if she’s asking me to leave. She said yes in a strange way as if she thought this was going to be the conflict she wanted. Nope, I turned around and left. Came back another day.

Covid hysteria has brought out the latent hall monitor in so many people. Last year I got griped at by a grocery store employee for going down an aisle opposite to the direction of the silly floor arrow stickers, when she was the only person other than me in the entire aisle. She must have felt proud.
