Yep. I've been sneering in disgust over this since it broke. People, as a whole, are lost. It wasn't even two days before this became news that someone said in my vicinity that they found it funny they offended other people by telling them they would save their dog over them if they were both drowning. The person they were talking to wasn't on bad terms with them either. It's become this sinisterly honorable thing to choose an animal over your own kind among white people. God isn't dead, but these kind of people are. May they find life before it's too late.
