He doesn't have to live up to your expectations, maybe everything you've been told about him is propaganda? IF the story were factual you see he interacts with honor and integrity, if someone is so overconfident on their skills that they would be willing to bet a gold fiddle with their soul then maybe THEY'RE the ones whose motives need to be questioned!
