There is some based anime out there, especially the older stuff. Watch "Legend of The Galactic Heroes" It's basically righteous space Hitler wipes out failed socialist democracy after the space jews betray them, the aesthetic is very 80s and gay as hell but the plot is fucking amazing so who cares?
