My brothers a doctor, and this describes him perfectly. He's incapable of independent thought. He only absorbs information from the correct prescribed sources, and then espouses the information as his own. Told him I'm not getting the Vax, and played out all the rational reasons why. Experimental drug, insufficient clinical studies and trials, low morbidity for young healthy people, doesn't provide immunity etc. He didn't want to hear any of it, and started name calling, like anti-vaxx, conspiracy theorist etc. Was then not invited to my families father's day lunch.

To be fair, the majority of MDs are decades out of date. They still advocate circumcision and many other outdated kiked practices.

The average doctor is a piece of shit, too afraid of the AMA to prescribe a life -saving drug.

Their career is far more important your life.

Nuremberg tells us exactly what to do with these people. And instead, we reward them with lucrative contracts in which they cannot fail or be held accountable. It is insanity.

I've known doctors who were absolute geniuses in the surgery room, but I wouldn't trust them with the TV remote. Just because you're an expert in one thing doesn't mean you've got any clue about politics in health/big pharma.

Doctors are fucking mindless drones without the ability to think critically and make up their own mind. I guess that is what you get when you only accept those who do best in school, read those who follow orders without thinking.

Just ask them why they carry malpractice insurance when they tell you to do something "because they're a doctor."

Med school these days is just teaching for the big, multiple-choice board exams. These exams are basically word-association games. The amount of material expected to be covered over a four year period is way too much to expect any meaningful thought on the topics, just cram as hard as you can to pass the next test then forget it while you cram for the next module. The conventional schooling period is only two years. Then you have clinicals where you do a bunch of shit-work while cramming for the next big board exam as well as end-of-rotation exams in all the various specialties. Also, an alarmingly high number of students have never held a job, all they have for experience are school and whatever application padding bullshit they managed to fit in between semesters. These people come out and their first job ever is doctor. The whole system is ridiculous.
