Sorry I really shouldn't have said "boomer", that really was dumb of me Considering I complained to my grandparents about that word when it first got popular; I got weak to it from reading too much garbage
I'm the person who is eligible to vote but decided not to (except locally) when I got the right here in Germany, we have multiple parties that need a 5% share of the total vote to be represented but the only "alternative" with a chance would need a major cleanup in a functioning system, which does not exist and cannot be voted out of. So there's that
I actually converse more with people born in the late 40s than people my age IRL, but the poison from social media really makes me feel out of character all the time I'm in my early 20s myself and indeed should push myself to be less pitiful. Not that I am out of shape, just pretty much antisocial in a place where none of my neighbours are close to my age.
What makes me actually afraid is how I can't trace back to any jewish people in my family, but sometimes totally feel like I am doing pilpul every message and other twisted nonsense comes up when I see a headline, but that's probably a blackpill thing. I don't consider myself depressed but I definitely complain too much; my whole life I have been thinking about how an action will be criticized, like some smarmy fag would do. In this case, I was hesitating to post anything but I decided to just add another take on the stonetoss, as I was curious if more users think that the word "sheep" cannot be taken seriously anymore.
my thought process went: sheep > sheeple > qanon kind of people > sheep conspiracies > ben garrison > a twitter account called boomer conspiratards or something similar > affirming comments on voat about ben garrison avoiding the jq "like a boomer" > a statistic I saw today conflating German generations with tv consumption and the baby boomers's political opinions being the most politically correct according to a study you can't trust > sheep = "boomer word"
You sure are strict and unforgiving about words, but I can't disagree with what you said. It must be hard to police poal almost singlehandedly, when joke news like the article I talked about in my last comment gets posted in /s/News… by some dude that keeps posting these suspicious coronadingdong123 articles and goes around "bombshell! breaking!". I don't know if it's a good idea to have post karma change the username color either because I thought that was some respectable veteran user.
As that was the last thing I saw on this site before posting my comment, I lost faith in poal and just posted without thinking too deeply.
