That one character was why that shitty film has such high regard among film critics.
What!? It's a great film. Why didn't you like it? I doubt a main character being a nig had much to do with it's critical reception. It would obviously been better if it was a white woman who got pregnant, but at least there wasn't miscegenation. If the movie were made today, Clive Owen's character would have been banging her.
Boring as boring fuk with nothing memorable about it
Wow! Even the scene where Julianne Moore's character is killed? And the insurrection scene? Those are edge-of-your-seat kind of scenes. They were a filmed in a single shot - no cutting. The cinematography was great.
If the movie were made today, Clive Owen's character would have been the one who was pregnant.
