They weren't just accused of poisoning water supplies, which then created the 'plague,' they were tortured and found guilty of it. Jews didn't and still don't seem to have a problem with torturing confessions out of people when it comes to Nuremburg. Funnily enough, Poland had a large Jewish population and was remarkably unscathed by the Black Plague 🤔 Then again, maybe everyone mistook one Asiatic rat for another... oops.
