A no more perfect answer could ever exist. Plus girls that don't wear makeup are far better looking. Their skin keeps it's youth and vigor due to not being slathered in acids and dyes all day.

Because it’s something that I enjoy. I don’t really owe anyone an explanation, least of all anyone still posting on twatter.

I wish I could still get enjoyment out of games. Nowadays on the off chance that I actually play something, it's more like just going through the motions. Got a crazy retro collection that I've built up over 30 years, and now it feels like it's glorified hoarding; rarely add to it anymore. Have several high end VR headsets and PCs. Rarely touch them for anything aside from browsing the web. Just built a MiSTer and put nearly 20,000 games on it. Don't feel like playing any of those either.

Basically all I've done for two weeks is work outside, smoke cigars, and ride motorcycles.

You owe no one any explanation for what you do for entertainment.

My hobbies are shitpost online, ride my motorcycle, shoot guns, and read books. Oh and lift

What more could someone want

[–] [deleted] 4 pts

Some occasional pussy?

[–] 3 pts

Fuck yeah! We have to keep ourselves sane, if we plan on winning an assault on our culture and people. Do be watchful while riding those bikes man, we need people like you around!

[–] 0 pt

Me and my friends used to ride bikes with sticks and we would joust each other

The age of escapism is nearly over.

Soon everyone will join you in interacting with the real world

I got an HTC vive.. I'm about to set it back up and give vr games another try. Why don't you use your vr I remember really liking Arizona sunshine

Mostly because I only use them for a few things: Niche projects like oldschool Doom and DolphinVR, as well as Project Cars 2 and Elite: Dangerous. After thousands of hours into all of those? I'd say burn out.

Lifestyle is another problem. I'm gone for work 1.5 to 3mo at a time and only come back sporadically until a 7-14day siesta, depending on how productive I feel. I do carry a gaming laptop and Rift S for lower end VR on the go, but lately have been leaving the headset at home as well. I'm just burned out in general.

Don't post a link in case of DCMA.

[–] 3 pts

Why do you enjoy them though? Ask what you th honest intent.

IMHO video gaming has become our generations version of alcoholism or drugs.

Escaping reality.

The hook was initially training. A make trait to prepare. But now we train and never implement

Games have better stories than many movies.

[–] 0 pt

And better music. I've saved several mp3's of various games and added them to my music collection.

[–] 1 pt

Same. I could play the classics and maybe enjoy them, or spend another ten years working on improving emulators, but the world continues to burn. My life isn't simple. Playing games is just making things worse.

[–] 1 pt

Yep. My real gaming began when my step dad brought home a bunch of pirated Amiga games. Civ. Populous. Silent service. God's etc.

From that moment I escaped into games because real world was hard and I was an introvert. When I married young to a psychopath I got worse. By then it was counterstrike beta and tribes esports. Lost all my mates and motivations

Taken me a long time to get over my addiction.

Now I occasionally play lol and hoi . The only games I've played these last ten years.

That's why I do fentanyl.

[–] 1 pt

Just don't combine that with multiple times the legal dose and attempting to pass off fake money to stores

[–] 0 pt

Also a lethal dose of carfentanil, one of methamphetamine, a potential lethal dose of morphine, as well as cannabis, alcohol, and caffeine, all while having known heart and respiratory issues and supposed COVID.

It's true. Women covered in makeup are repulsive and disgusting compared to a natural and beautiful woman. She's just annoyed someone played video games with friends instead of buying her things.

[–] 6 pts

The girls with the most beautiful skin are always swimmers. They don't wear any or much makeup at all due to the cost + time required where it just washes off on the water. And when they do wear a small amount the chlorine in the water purifies that goop right off and when they get out their natural oils refresh the skin again.

This is actually really nice to learn because it seems obvious but I never thought about it and my White high school sweetheart understood me and we were both prototypical Aryans in the 90s so it wasn't way too PC yet. I wish she was still alive. She passed in a rollover car accident in the early 2000s.

She was a lifeguard year round on beaches and indoor pools as well as a semi pro swimmer. A beautiful Dutch girl.

[–] 6 pts

Sorry for the loss man. Carry on her memory though.

[–] 0 pt

Can confirm. Girl I dated through college was on the swim team and a lifeguard as well as a swim teacher for kids, and worked at a water park during summers prior to grad school.

[–] 4 pts

To be honest. I’ve nailed more girls with way too much makeup. They’re complete sluts. They’re literally worthless. Never make a baby with them. Otherwise you’ll be back on Reddit just for sanity because you’ll be a cuck faggot

games don't judge me, and they're more interesting

[–] 2 pts

Agree. But to further your point, it's not judgement I dislike. It's when it's used to attack or demean rather than to better and support.

Like working out it keeps me from killing people

[–] 1 pt

Working out is the best anger management tool ever.

True I have a picture of what I think you look like on my punching bag.

Works like a charm. 😉

Their skin keeps it's youth and vigor due to not being slathered in acids and dyes all day.

Can confirm.

Sometimes I ask myself, will I regret the time I spent playing video games? No. I probably won't. Would I go back and do it again at the end of my life? Probably, ya. Do I wish I could have been doing something else? Ya kinda but what (I don't think I was doing any less than others)?

I do like making music now that I just learned, I kind of see it as a video game everyone else gets to enjoy. Making music is kind of an engineer's way of performing because they can pretend it's not them on stage (maybe they literally aren't on stage but around the corner). I have no problem performing on stage otherwise though.

I have rules for video games though, they must be strategy games that are intelligence building and multiplayer. No time pass shit.

Been playing Hitman: Codename 47. Great cerebral game. You have to play a level multiple times to discover what strategy works. It's not some run and gun FPS. It's not an action adventure. You have to figure things out. Right before this I played through Manhunt. Not as intense but similar strategies. I like puzzle platformers, too, one of my favorites being Fire N Ice - if you liked Adventures of Lolo or even didn't so much but found it interesting, you'd like that.

Sounds interesting.

Tons of legacy games. Never post a link to sites like these because of DCMA threats.

[–] 1 pt

I know the URL. I'll check it out if I get time. Thanks for the tip.
