It's not the breed, it's the owner. I just bought myself a sweet little , who sleeps with and protects my newborn baby while I'm out of the house. I've got an Instagram that I constantly fill with pictures of animals and children "dangerously" close to my Zuul, so I can prove to the world how wrong they are about this breed.
Why is Poal.co full of sensible sane people? Why is it only here that I don't have to read the ramblings of the average midwith about the obvious dangers around us?
The initial people who come to such a site where truth is spoken are usually above average intelligence because they respect truth.
Then it gets popular and low IQ people hear about it and come and ruin it.
Been through several websites with this cycle.
Reddit even started out that way in the beginning.
FuckingClown
You know, that is an interesting point.
Have you seen the Prof. Dutton bit on mid-wits?
Link:
You just kind of put a light on something that I did not notice before. Virtually all of the people around me are a kind of mid-wit. Relatively normal IQ but TOTALLY controlled by a kind of mental fog.
I read recently that the vaxx hesitancy is among the dumbest and the smartest on the iq curve and the middle of the curve is where most people are accepting of the vaxx.
That kind of maps on to exactly what you just said. I too (now that you reminded me) remember when Reddit started, it was kind of like here. Then THEY arrived. They seemed reasonably intelligent and capable but there was just that "something" about their intellect that I couldn't put my finger on it. They are midwit iq level as Prof. Dutton puts it, capable but in a total state of mental fog that it almost looks like they are controlled by this invisible hand.
Thanks for the post. That is interesting.
// EDIT: Holy shit, this explains so much. It explains voting for GOP / Democrats. It explains the vaxx thing ... huh. Never noticed it at this level before.
If this is the definition of these peoples psychology, I wonder if there are any techniques that can be taken to wedge their mind out of the mental fog.
