SARS, also a coronavirus was everyone's fear back in 2003. Hydroxychlanoquine was the standard treatment for it, and recognized as safe and effective. That's why it was the reasonable go-to for covid 19 which is closely related to SARS. This was just taking a queue from headlines in 2003.

Yeah it’s a staple of science fiction. Remember all of the outbreak type of movies in the 90s? Viruses, deadly bacteria, ever see the Andromeda Strain? The Stand?

It is one of the top 10 doomsday scenarios for at least two different genres of fiction. Disaster stories, science fiction, medical mysteries, there are a number of genres that employ viruses, deadly bacteria, contagion, there are movies, books, short stories, games, TV shows, every single year about these topics. And coronaviruses have been around for as long as anyone can remember.

And does anyone think Donald Trump was the one that came up with HCQ? It’s the reason why tonic water (gin and tonic) was so popular in British India, the quinine stopped malaria and other issues. I credit him for bringing it forward after the French used it rather extensively even if experimentally to deal with colds and viruses before. But the fact that it appeared in a television show is not significant in anyway. People have written about the possibilities for decades.

The idea that this is significant in any way is just embarrassing. The right has been destroyed by paranoid schizophrenics.

But how could a TV show have known about viruses, treatments, it coming from animals, transfer between countries being an issue? Nobody knew anything about this until 2019. We were in the stone age of medicine before 2020 when COVID hit.

There have been, literally, thousands of stories about viruses throughout science fiction especially, throughout the decades. And do you think this is the first coronavirus? Or do you think we get one, you know, every year?

I don’t know why people keep posting this everywhere throughout the last two years, it’s not that big of a fucking coincidence. Now if you believe in predictive programming, then I guess this is a big example. You know, a show from the USA network that almost no one watched.

I tend to think that predictive programming is one of the goofiest most bullshit ideas I’ve ever seen. There’s no logic to it. At all. Two morons come up with a theory to explain pure coincidence for people who have that tick in their brain where they can’t fathom the idea that seemingly connected things might not be part of a global conspiracy theory, and a bunch of dipshits run with it and self affirm it because they have a mental defect.

Or you know, some obscure nobody writer at the USA Network was in on it with the global cabal.

We also get superhero movies every year yet no one is making a correlations with comic book movies. What's happening now in the world lends credence to what OP posted. Learn to discern brother!
