BTW, my situation WAS way worse. The cop didn't just tap his brakes a couple times to get me to back off. He was getting in front of me and SLAMMING on his brakes to come to a complete stop. He did this in outside number four lane, number three, number two and tried again back in number three before my escort got between us. The first time I almost rear ended him but after that I realized he was trying to cause an accident so he could get my personal details. Each time he pulled this maneuver I let off the pedal and dropped back which seemed to further enrage him. If I had let him get out of his car by waiting for him I would have been beatdown and charged with resisting arrest and assaulting an officer. You think I wasn't terrified? The driver of the escort was my grandfather and grandmother with him. I was also worried about their health and safety. In the end on arriving back at the shop they were quite excited by the experience and proud they scared off the rogue cop. Yes, they saw the bastard waving his badge as if it was a license for highway mayhem. That pissed them off. Being right behind me they literally saw everything. When they cop realized the pickup tailing me the entire time had seen everything and were obviously with me and running interference he fled. I had a feeling of great relief it was over and then a warm feeling of pride my grandparents had stepped up to defend me. By myself the outcome would more likely have ended in tragedy.

Always keep your emotions in check and ignore those negative emotions. The main thing is to get safely to your destination. It's understandable to be upset with rude or careless drivers but you can't let those emotions distract you from your number one priority. Get there safely.
