The thing is, everybody liked Michael Jordan. As much as some here would hate to admit, at the time of Space Jam, was a talented and likable athlete. Lebron on the other hand, while having some talent, is thoroughly unlikeable as a person. If he couldn't throw a ball though as hoop, he would be nothing. He comes out with this movie and his massive ego and it is no question why this would fail.
I mean, it's not about sympathy. He painted himself as a political figure and how could I support somebody, whose political agenda is against my interests?
Fuck that nigger.
Hijacking top thread to note that this is fake news, if anyone didn't get it.
Let's be honest here. Space Jam was a fun campy movie based on a gimmick. A sequel would have bombed even if they had the original cast. It's even worse with LeBron James. Whoever bankrolled this movie was either a moron or looking to launder some money.
the budget was $150 million and they made $200 million. By streaming this forever they can easily make an extra million a year for the next 50 years and divy that all up in royalties.
Movies dont lose money. I doubt you can even name one big budget film that lost money.
Exactly. And then people say the left can't meme. Their movies ARE their memes! They can push whatever filth they want, and they won't lose anything from it! Does anyone on the right have hundreds of millions to make their own movies? Probably not, and even if they did they will never be allowed on cinema or major streaming services.
Cutthroat Island and others. Not listed in the budget is marketing and other promos. Theres a hidden economy to these movies that they don't include in order to pump up the stats. And they still flop. Movies can definitely lose money based on how much was invested.
How do you launder money through failed movies?
All money laundering does is conceal the source of money and integrate it into the financial system. This can involve a successful or non-successful business venture. Every person you ever want a kickback from can be given a financial stake in a film.
Take lebron. You can’t exactly take a paycheck for pushing Racial disharmony. However if i make a movie there is plausible deniability if i cut lebron a big check. Easy. This is why mike pence got a 4 million dollar book advancd.
Thats just the star. Now if i wanted to give a kickback to say a judge for ruling a certain way i could give a friend of their friends law firm a role in the film as a consultant. Let them run up whatever legal fees i want. The favor trickles back to the judge through a network of corruption. We can make this as complicated and obfuscated as you would want.
Point is that anytime you need to spread money or favors around where the reason and source of the money cannot be known, a film offers a great opportunity for this.
MJ acted with class and tact. LJ does not. Funny how negroes don't need White people until it's time to spend money. LJ net worth:500 mil. Possibly not enough ghetto drank schwoogies gwan to see dat thang. As the White population declines, and Whites focus their capital and discretionary income elsewhere, so goes the economy.
He's nothing in the 80 s. Guy would curl up if he had the same physical play they had back then.
His career wouldn’t have the longevity but let’s not act like the dudes a wimp. He’s a house. His ancestors probably went for a lot of money.
You got me there.
The bad boy Pistons, 76ers, Bucks, Celtics would have eaten up any LeBron team playing by the rules in the 80 s. They changed the rules for Jordan and the Bulls to ease up the physical play and guarding.
and his massive ego
That's why most niggers are unlikeable.
