I would say the problem begins earlier, in viewing a chick as a commodity rather than an investment.
Fixer-upper houses are a thing. And unlike a house, you can begin improving a chick before buying her and bow out if necessary. Hell, you could even do some improvement on her with no intention to buy, as a public service.
I would die alone - and fuck the white race - before considering even getting near that thing if that's what living with her was going to be like forever. But if I have any capacity to make her love me and fix, well, everything about her - I could imagine it happening.
However that's where we encounter the second problem. Men have to be active to make a chick love them. That means being aggressive and taking risks with her. Doubly so when she has a bitch shield. Problem is in modern society if you ever so much as talk to a chick actively she can claim sexual harassment and ruin your life.
Maybe you think the risk is only 1%, well considering that I'm risking my entire life that's a big risk. And yes, I'm a man, it's my job to take risks - and in fact I have taken that risk and gotten the book thrown at me for it. But that was for a really special chick I already had an investment in - not someone that's practically bragging about #metoo-ing the first guy she sees.
So, I have to find some way to show off who I am without actually approaching her. But frankly I can't think of any way to do that.

You know, thats a very good point and I would say its true for women looking for men as well. Going for the weathier older man who will support you is more of a thing with corrupt polygamous societies. Monogamous european societies have generally encouraged women to marry men close to their own age with good character and skillfulness, historically.
