Idk, maybe I can only speak for myself, and what I've noticed is that my hairs on my legs and feet (I used to be a hobbit when it comes to that) are completely gone on the outer side of the calf, and completely gone on the top of the feet. And I'm pretty sure it's due to sweating in tight work shoes/socks and pants. For my chest, it's still hairy as fuck, like I have the american eagle made of hairs on my chest So for that reason I don't think it's due to lower testosterone levels, otherwise the chest hairs would have been gone too ... It used to be a big no no in the west to not be shaved at work (corporate/desk jobs) until a rather recent period of time. So hairless was kind of encouraged and is still is to some extent; look at underwear's packaging in the super market, it's all shaved homo chests/body, same deal in porn, body hairs are kind of banned. So there's that also, cultural thing encouraging men and women to shave. While they might be hairy you can suppose they are not just because they always shave.
