Since we have started homeschooling our kids, we have noticed a massive improvement in their behavior and temperament from when they were in school. You may not realize this if you don't have kids, but the last 18 months was terrible for them and turned many of them into anti-social monsters. Mask-wearing/distancing for 8-10 hours a day and policies against talking to friends, playing, hugging, sharing, etc turned kids into little paranoid jail inmates. Add to this the unceasing woke and white guilt bullshit, and kids are in bad shape.

I have noticed many Boomers don't get how bad it is in the schools now. They think it is still 1974 and the average HS kid is still hanging with his bud in the parking lot, sitting on the hood of his Nova and laughing about getting hassled by the principal. Or they think the average middle school girl is still bringing an apple for the teacher, wearing a poodle dress, and giggling with her friends over a cute boy with freckles. The teachers in this fantasy are all white, married, conservative men who pray before class.

School isn't like that at all anymore. Not even close. Boomers can't seem to grasp that teachers are mostly lesbian communists who hate children and hugging a friend can get you suspended and called a "health hazard."
