No, i did not homeschool. But, I put my son in a christian school in the 5th grade after seeing how bad public schools (i volunteered a lot to see what was going on). It made all the difference in the world. I'm not catholic, but they have an excellent education and the teachers are the best because they are not run by the teacher union mafia. I believe it is homeschool.com. where you can connect with those like minded parents. It truly is well worth your time (and i know how limited it is) to explore those options. Remember when your child goes to school, you have no idea what is going on. I always felt i was handing my kid to wolves.
