Yeah, getting triggered because someone politely disagrees with you is almost exclusively the purview of leftists

[–] 3 pts

Can confirm. Even the little shits who know you'll wipe the floor with them try to square up to you, showing the whites of their eyes with their face spasming in a rictus of rage as they hop from one foot to the other like a demented penguin. What the hell is going on in their heads? At least two commentators have theorized that disagreement is seen as an existential threat to their narcissistic egos.

Subservience to celebrities, mainstream news, and leftist government is the cult religion of leftists. So the reason why they are so angry when someone disagrees with any part of their insane dogma is that disagreement outs the person disagreeing as a non-cultist enemy.

Yeah, that explains the leftists. The cough cough other type who get triggered and shower you with ad hominims when you disagree it's because people with autism have trouble understanding other people's point of view. To them, the world is black and white and if you don't see it exactly as they do, then you must be dishonest- must be lying.

I have a cousin with aspergers. You can talk to her and she will admit that she puts words in people's mouth, and has beliefs about what they think that are false. She recognizes that there are other perspectives, but every single time you disagree with her it's an assault on her conception of the world. This time, she's sure that she's right and the rest of the (normally thinking world) is wrong and even if she's aspy as hell, this time is different.

You want to see a wild ride of awkward and sad? Get two aspy people who disagree to talk to one another. The sperging devolves quickly. Each one is 100% certain that his particularly skewed interpretation of events is factual and anyone who disagrees must be dishonest. I'm generally against corporal punishment, but can't help but think if they had just been spanked enough when sperging, at least they could learn to keep it to themselves.

I don't mind spectrum people as long as they have some sort of self awareness enough to pause and realize maybe they're having an aspy reaction and should chill.

Did your cousin believe Biden would win the election?

“A writer who says that there are no truths, or that all truth is ‘merely relative,’ is asking you not to believe him. So don’t.”

― Roger Scruton, Modern Philosophy: An Introduction and Survey

Record the teacher saying that truth is relative.

Write nonsense on your exam and defend it has being your truth and that exam answers are relative.

Morality is a matter of opinion, it doesn't exist outside of the people who possess it.

Truth is something that is truly objective, it exists outside of the person and can be independent verified.

There can be "my personal morality" but not "my personal truth", someone who uses the latter phrase is using language irresponsibly by equating perception with reality, either unintentionally in the capacity of not being careful with words and meanings, or intentionally, to give more weight to one's perceptions than it actually deserves though clever manipulation of language.

It’s not that they think morality is subjective, it’s that they literally cannot link morality to consequences in their own thinking. To leftists, choice is moral; like, if you made a choice freely, then it is moral, and anything that constrains choice is immoral. Normal people understand that true morality stems from the intentions and more importantly, the outcome, of one’s choices.

It’s literally a Satanic viewpoint.

The World is enmity with God.

To leftists, choice is moral; like, if you made a choice freely, then it is moral, and anything that constrains choice is immoral.

leftists are libertarians/capitalists

What? That is complete rubbish, they absolutely despise choice, they are all about obligation and ordering other people to do things for some greater good, if they truly believed like you said, then they would support something like a business refusing to serve niggers, or the right of someone to expose the holohoax on some university grounds.

In case you haven't noticed, they hate the freedom of individual choice, they blame anything-goes capitalism for much of the world's problems, they want to force people to do all manner of things, and all of this is their moral position.

Normal people understand that true morality stems from the intentions and more importantly, the outcome, of one’s choices.

Normal people think like utilitarian rationalists

LOLNO, they do not, people are not rational vulcans, try talking to one of them in such terms, they will emphatically reject you.

Asking them things like "what's the harm/good of X?" often gets you a strong emotional response, their values are not based on pragmatism at all.

The morality of a normal person is more based on their own individual comfort, and conforming with their immediate social environment.

What world do you even live in?

listen to me! You bigot! No matter what I'm right and you're wrong! I have a gender studies degree and a minor in feminist activism and am a communist!

  • every leftist ever.

Where does the degree in underwater basket weaving fit in? I hear most of them love that subject

[–] 1 pt

It is usually a hobby for most of them but I find in the majors they usually also have a liberal art studies degree.

There's too many harmful stereotypes associated with underwater basket weaving, it's now called aquatic containment manufacturing specialist.

Oh damn, I forgot to check my privilege before commenting.

They tend to act the most like their morality is something objective and universal, and that their morality must be imposed on others.

The ones who claim nonsense like morality is "objective" tend to act most like moral relativists, changing their minds constantly, and being least serious about imposing their morality on those who dissent and acting like theirs is the only valid opinon.

Christianity tells people to be like communists, but Christians tend towards capitalist thinking. While communists are the people who most strongly reject Christianity.

It's a really weird world.

I don't understand how this is a loss for the leftist scum here, it's actually a win.

He says "morality is subjective" which means it isn't an objective or universal principle of the universe, but originates from human beings, and varies between them.

The reply "I disagree" basically back this up, as does "you are an evil person".

The fact that they CAN disagree on moral issues means that morality is something that is subjective.

And the idea that someone who disbelieves in OBJECTIVE morality would have NO morality is a misrepresentation of their position, what the purple guy is saying is that by his moral perspective, belief in there being just one moral standard is evil.

Maybe one of you can explain this to me.

The truth right here!

You have to admire the sheer stupidity of an ethos that intrinsically undermines itself.
