Youre looking at the movie wrong then. in the end he finds some "based black man" and he's all like maybe if I can find one then maybe they're all not bad. So he believes the mainstream propaganda and tries to change his life. Calls his past self stupid etc. (like the MAGA/mainstream conservative faggots we have nowadays) His younger brother sees that nothing has actually changed, and seeing as his brother was in prison for years the white v. black situation probably got worse too. So in the end the older guy pussying out of being a white supremacist ended up getting his brother killed because the propaganda he believed wasn't true. If you can look past the whole (((Hollywood))) trope of a character saying very true redpill like things, but they make sure hes obnoxious and says nigger so the audience disagrees with him, its an okay movie. I would say it isn't propagandized enough because the characters are likable enough that it still has memetic use in current year. There is too many things normies could sympathize with that its still able to be used as propaganda for us as well. All though I could think of many more movies to get that point across. You should watch it again though.
