Having a baby is a natural biological function. It's like taking a shit. Nature made it so that it's not painful. It has no reason to make the process painful--just the opposite as it wants women to have kids, and more than one. Sure, once in a while you get constipated and it hurts like hell coming out, but overall it's a pretty pleasant experience.
Labor is very painful and pregnancy can be super uncomfortable. I am pregnant with #3 and am headed into the third trimester during the Texas summer.
My labors were 44 and 36 hours and I took no pain meds. There was no poop that could compare to that. It was very painful. But a beautiful baby at the end of it makes it worth it.
Yeah I don’t know why people believe this.
The pressure at the very end is quite similar to pooping. But the experience is not at all the same. I mean, let’s just examine the difference between what’s being pushed out; a soft substance that can conform exactly to the contours of the final exit location, verses a 6-10 pound body of hard bone and organs that has to be kept perfectly intact and alive through the entire process. Yes, a baby’s skull can shift a little bit, but only a little bit. And it takes your body nine fucking months of serious hormones to soften your pelvis enough to make this possible.
Not comparable at all.
When was the last time you shit out something that was 10cm wide?
