Abuse does weird things to the psyche. I’m not sure if men and women react differently to physical abuse. It’s quite possible that they do. I’ve had some pretty painful crap happen to me in my life, though. I’ve been physically assaulted and I remember that pretty clearly. I’ve been injured, and remember that too. But childbirth? I can tell you that it hurt but I can’t really recall the exact sensation.
