Do you believe that a female has some other defense against someone who could kill her, rape her or let her starve? Let’s put it like this. Do you believe we are related to gorillas? In gorilla society, one male gorilla rules over all the females and is much bigger than them. They find it in their interest to be agreeable to him. Occassionally the alpha is murdered by another male who replaces him. The females find it in their interest to be aggreeable to him as well. Are they “cowards”. Are the males “psychopaths”? Perhaps it is better to be a bit objective when we observe trends in sexual dynamics, as all these behaviors have a root in survival adaptations. Arguments like >women are all disloyal manipulative gold diggers are just the flip side of femist arguments like >males are rapists and murderers who subjugate women Do you feel that is fair and sums you up?? Be assured, the male legacy includes rape, murder and subjugation of women. These are tried and true male strategies. If you don’t care for that broad brush don’t apply it to others. Males are every bit as mercenary as females. Its a competition for survival. Braveness is not a useful response if it gets you wiped out. Weaker females usually don’t survive by being brave and standing up to men. They survive by ingraciating themselves to men or finding nicer men.
