That's why they've kept Americans fat, happy, and asleep while they gutted the economic base and fostered more and more debt (to China). If American's were not treated this way, they would be much more educated and motivated to act. But, the bill has come due, and hard times are coming. As that happens, more people will feel their lives are worth less than the cause for liberty. The internal communists are going to be ejected or die, as will many good Americans.

The sad part is that America will be further weakened by this, and will likely lose the west coast to China after all the internal conflict.

When the first amendment fails, they'll create complicated enough lie that cannot be unraveled via a short discussion. That lie will target the 2nd amendment giving justification for confiscation of guns. From there, it's game over.

They are going to lose this fight, but it will be very costly to both sides. The problem is that it will leave America very weak to its international enemies. Think China and/or Islam.

The fact that there's a chance that there will be a revolt with guns means that laws cannot be as easily or quickly passed. The end run the communists/authoritarians have been attempting has been totally exposed to those paying attention. What's more, the internet is showing more and more people the deception and trickery afoot.

So, yes, the 2nd does protect.

Guns have significantly SLOWED DOWN the totalitarian two step. Antifa is having problems making in-roads to states with guns, laws cannot be passed as quickly as in countries that have strict gun control. If they go to quickly, they'll be called out and shot with impunity. So, they HAVE to go slow. But... the internet is exposing their lies, so now they're going to either have to retreat or race to the finish line in hopes of taking both the 1st and 2nd.
