One spring, after a bit of thawing, we found one of my uncles farm animals that had gone missing in the winter. It was frozen solid, the limbs could not move. It was dropped into a hole (had to use the backhoe as the ground was still frozen) about 4 feet deep and nothing happend. Just stayed in the same shape it was in.
