Yes, social media also increases the inter-female competition and is driving women all around the world to look like each other. But, those are NOT the only layers and dynamics in a relationships. If you pay attention to human behaviour and the male vs female dynamic, there is also the GROOMING aspect of the male / female dynamic. Over time, women dominate men psychologically because they simply outlast us on that level. However, there is simultaneously another level at which a male grooms a female and effectively owns her and can make her do almost anything that he wants. This can obviously be taken to extremes and its how the porn industry and hollywood function. What you are describing might be true but you are missing an absolutely critical part of the male female dynamic and it is the male grooming of the female for her to comport and transform her self to suit the relationship. When people talk about men being alphas, people think an alpha is a large good looking dude with shoulders and abs that can kick anyone ass. Mostly that's not it. What they are talking about is a dude with high social status (which can be achieved many ways) that understands the grooming of women. Women might be the arbiters of sex and they may wait at the finish line and choose from the winners, but there is a HUGE gradient between a 5 foot nothing jew looking beta and a full fledged alpha in the group. We need to teach our mean a specific type of agressiveness that has been sifted out of our men particularly in the last batch or two just coming into their own.
