Just because people did something commonly in the past doesn’t mean it wasn’t stupid. Remember bloodletting?

Weve applied quality control to every aspect of our lives. Hows it working out?

Quality control reduces the chances of malfunction in equipment and helps produce... well, quality results. So pretty well I’d say.

I worked in quality control. Managers were always trying to apply it to a bunch of spontaneous human behaviors that are impossible to model and control. It is inappropriate to manage most human behavior as an industrial mass production process. It becomes a top heavy unproductive work environment.

Not to mention, some human beings just need to be allowed to fail. No (white) person is allowed to punch an asshole in the face ever? Some people need to be punched. No one in London is allowed to travel with a pocket knife? I cant open the the fucking bottle of ibuprofen because some slut leaves that shit out and doesn’t monitor their toddler. My little neighbor told me they aren’t allowed to run at recess. They will be taking Gorilla Glue off the market soon because black people are too stupid not to put it in their hair.

There is a randomness in normal human behavior that is good for us because it weeds out the idiots in favor of people who make better choices. And also sometimes processes can improve when they are not tightly controlled. Finally, the burden of all these regulations is crushing us. It is destroying prosperity and freedom. You are giving permission to bureacrats to monitor every activity in your life. Its a bad idea.
