Even longer when you consider a lot of their work has to be redone and a lot of times they actually actively create MORE work than was originally there to begin with. Also they require more supervision because they're more likely to fuck up themselves or others. Men have more work related injuries and deaths overall but that's because of 1. Occupation and 2. They're usually the ones doing the more difficult tasks. But if you compare it within something like service sector, women always have more injuries and claims for things like burns, fractures, sprains, etc.
No see women want those cushy exec jobs, they dont want to do the actual job. You see this in construction all the time, the women are doing signs or driving the truck. You never see them raking the asphalt, or doing the back breaking work though
As a life long structural welder I only ever see a few female welders on the larger jobs. On small crews in remote areas it's never happened unless they are there as fire watch , but that's only once way out far from a city.
