Men cause more wrecks in number, but men also drive more. If you account for miles driven, men actually cause slightly fewer wrecks per mile than women.
I wonder how it breaks down regarding city versus highway driving. Say men drive more highway miles and there are more wrecks per mile, then the data would show that men are better. That is, if women and men drove the same number of miles and same highway/city mix, who would get in more wrecks?
