Every gal that claims some guy is the "love of my life" today is the same bitch that wants nothing more than to use divorce court to destroy him ten or twenty years from now. So long as the laws are set up to turn marriage into a get-rich-quick scheme, where the golddigger gets half of everything hubbie has, plus alimony until she can entrap another sucker, then child support for 18+ years....one would either have to be a masochist or a compulsive gambler to risk it....so no, I'll shed no tears over the poor gal that had one get away. She will just have to tone down the hypergamy, and settle for an easier target like an incel or 'nice guy'.
