Yes, level_101. I did a bit of programming myself. Lots of programmers think other programmers are morons. And they are. Look at Microshit. They've been in the business for decades, and have billions of dollars, but their updates are trash. Dummies don't even know how to do proper testing. There's so much low-quality shit out there.

The current batch I am working with dont even know how to reference an external config file.. They probably make more than I do. I have had to provide documentation to them that is easily available so they can figure out how to write to a log file.

Some programmers are awesome. Most are complete morons.

The hiring process now is a joke. The stuff they test you on (memorization) doesn't at all equate to a good understanding of clean architecture, and other practices. If you can make the interviewer like you through social skills, and you memorize data structures, some algos, and can solve a few challenge questions, thats what most companies hire on.
