FALSE : BLACK WOMEN most inept!

That meme did not dare portray what real software engineers think of the WORST and most inept clueless computer users :

That comic artist deliberately made all the stupid people lose their BLONDE HAIR, lose their BROWN hair, and lose their MEDIUM BLONDE hair... replacing all the blondes in the "caveman panel" but FORGOT TO CHANGE THEIR SKIN COLOR to NIGGER skin.

Notice how the artist only got rid of their white hair coloration on three users, but dare not make the users into NIGGERS or WOMEN.

EVERY skilled professional programmer I know, White or Asian, jokingly talks in black ghetto english mimicking nigger end users calling tech support, when clowning around between other engineers. It is engineering if you approach it as such. I'm currently building a large web app as a personal project and I'm approaching like building a machine. Custom middleware and authentication, optimizing queries, optimizing caching, scheduled tasks, etc. Every part of it needs to run harmoniously with all of the other pieces. Anyway, I'm not setting out to change your mind. But software development can very well be treated as engineering depending on the sophistication and nature of the task.

lol. 99% of it is like being the guy who's good with Excel, except you're the guy who's good with React and Node, or Rust, or ??? If it's engineering then there's a discipline external to the tech, and a lot of times that discipline is being a filing clerk.

I've known ones like that, thinking that users' choices are dumb and they can force things on said users, like forcing them to all change the format of files they use because the old format is inferior. Even though these are read-only files (a kind of media file).

Alternatively many users are literal retards who won't try even the most basic forms of troubleshooting (refreshing the page, retyping their "definitely correct" input) and when asking for a something to be produced will ask for some cryptic wording of what their galaxy brain has determined to be the best solution rather than asking for the actual thing they want.

Yes, level_101. I did a bit of programming myself. Lots of programmers think other programmers are morons. And they are. Look at Microshit. They've been in the business for decades, and have billions of dollars, but their updates are trash. Dummies don't even know how to do proper testing. There's so much low-quality shit out there.

The current batch I am working with dont even know how to reference an external config file.. They probably make more than I do. I have had to provide documentation to them that is easily available so they can figure out how to write to a log file.

The hiring process now is a joke. The stuff they test you on (memorization) doesn't at all equate to a good understanding of clean architecture, and other practices. If you can make the interviewer like you through social skills, and you memorize data structures, some algos, and can solve a few challenge questions, thats what most companies hire on.
