We are keeping an eye on these low effort posts, because in the past, some accounts used that technique to slide relevant information down the queue and make it less visible to users.

We also get notified by the algorithm when some suspicious accounts are only used to upvote (aka vote gaming).

Follow up, I thought the upvote downvote policy around here was that downvoting is discouraged unless something is off topic? I really don't find myself using the downvote a lot, if at all, compared to the upvote. Does this policy make it harder to catch vote gaming? Or are there still signs?

Thanks for AOU, helps make this make more sense. While I enjoy some low effort content from time to time, stopping abusive accounts needs to be first priority.
