I don't think they are one way streets. They just appear that way. If they are then the diversity hire that designed this needs to be fired and stripped of any credentials.

Those are supposed to be entrance and exit lanes; not two 1-way streets. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying.
Actually, that just drives the point home. It's a terrible design if we can't even discuss it without confusion. Signage would definitely clear this up.
