We need to figure out why traitors are so prevalent in our people. You would think that would have been weeded out evolutionarily, there must be some sort of evolutionary advantage to it. Off the top of my head: * Some traitor behaviour might be due to group competition and traitors belonging to groups that would benefit from our demise. * Some traitor behaviour might be due to in group competition with those either on the edges or out of the group seeking shelter amongs our enemies. * A lot of traitor behaviour comes from us not paying attention and allowing non whites into our ranks. A lot of traitor behaviour historically has been outsiders pretending to be on our side but this can never be true if they are not one of ours. I wonder if we can figure out strategies on how to minimize this particular weakness at a very base level and apply it across our civilizations.
