I think it's cruelty from other kids growing up. i.e.: bullying.

Bullying works on some kids, forces them to straighten up and stop being such a faggot. Others, the weakest ones, just can't stop being a faggot, so not only are they complete faggots, they're too frightened of social interaction because of all of the bullying they've endured.

Just stick these people in the institutions they belong in.

It’s social anxiety, stems from shitty parenting or abuse. I still have a mild version of it but I used to be just like them. Couldn’t even order takeout without memorizing what I would say. It fucking sucks man.
