Nope. I didn't get her at all when I was young, but now I appreciate where she is coming from. Marriage, and sarcastic barbs from the mother in law helped. I think girls understand her straight off because they are so evil to each other from an early age.

Not willingly, anyway, I was forced to read her in college, but if you want to understand women, even if only to develop an instinctive feel of when to duck when she throws a plate at your head, then the novels of Jane Austin are a pretty good primer.
