Funny because a jew wrote the poem on the statue of liberty

I had some asshole quoting it to me when we were arguing about illegal aliens - I had to remind him that he was quoting a fucking poem and not US Immigration Policy - he of course didn't care because he is a believer in the leftist faith.

That poem was added well after the Statue of Liberty was built.

Actually, immigration allowed at the time and the location of the statue both suggest the "huddled masses" would have been Europeans.
