But what i thought typically kills you if you get hit by 110v is asphyxiation due to not being able to breath because your muscles lock up and if the current is high enough then fibrillation of the heart. It takes both combination of current and voltage to kill you. Touching a distributor cap on a car is like 4kv but the current is very low. A cars battery has 700 amps but only at 12v.
